JSIA RCF Kaushal Vikas Kendra (Skill Development Centre)
It is located and functioning at the Mahesh Poddar Centre of Excellence, 2nd Floor, Udyog Bhawan, Jharkhand Small Industries Association, Kokar Industrial Area, Ranchi – 834001, Jharkhand. It is a joint initiative of Jharkhand Small Industries Association (JSIA) and Rajrappa Charitable Foundation (RCF) to skill and train the youth of Jharkhand and to increase their employability. This is in line with the objective of JSIA to make available the important resource of employment ready people needed by the industry and other sectors of Jharkhand. The Kaushal Vikas Kendra is run and operated under the aegis of Rajrappa Charitable Foundation and is run on a no profit no loss basis.
Jharkhand Small Industries Association (JSIA)
JSIA was formed in 1959 and is an association of about 500 MSMEs. It is engaged in the promotion of economic activities to ensure maximum capital investment in the State with the objectives of increasing employment opportunities, improving standard of living of people at large, specially the deprived and the down trodden sections of the society and to ensure all round development of the State; promotion of research and development, technological up-gradation and qualitative improvement and utilization of state of art technology to improve product, production and productivity. It also aims to provide better development opportunities to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Handicapped, Weaker Sections and Women and to ensure their participation in the development process.
Rajrappa Charitable Foundation (RCF)
Rajrappa Charitable Foundation is a non-profit company registered under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. It was incorporated on 1st May 2023. CIN: U88900JH2023NPL020415 . Apart from JSIA RCF KVK, Kokar, RCF is running a Skill Development Centre at village Hensapora near Rajrappa, Ramgarh, Jharkhand named “Shri Ram Krishna Panda Study and Skill Centre”. Free education is given to village children after school hours in this Centre on a daily basis. It has a Sewing &Tailoring Centre and a Beauty Parlour Training Centre where regular batches undergo training and skilling by competent personnel. RCF is also engaged in other social activities. It periodically organizes Health Camps in the nearby villages. Medicines are distributed for free. Counselling sessions for youth for employability in various fields are also being held regularly. Tree plantations are done around the village. RCF promotes sports among the village youth.
