She has done her schooling from Sharadamoni Girls School Jamshedpur and college from Women’s College Jamshedpur. She has worked as a teacher in TISCO School. At present she is a housewife and lives at Hesapora near Rajrappa where the Rajrappa Charitable Foundation has opened a Study and Skill Centre. She has done various types of social work in and around Ramgarh, Jharkhand.
